Liked: The pool area with the bar was great. We also enjoyed the fire pits and smores.
Disliked: The rooms need to be updated. The beds are small and not comfortable at all.

Disliked: Wish the firepits could have had an extended period. Closing them at 11 pm was disappointing.

Dreadful

Liked: Can’t think of anything I liked apart from the staff who were very pleasant.
Disliked: Our room was ground floor, facing the car park and next to one of the side doors to the hotel. At night, even with the curtains closed, every time someone drove around the car park their headlights shone into the room. At night, every time someone entered the building the door would be left to slam. The sound proofing between us and the floor above left a lot to be desired, every time someone walked across the room upstairs we heard it! We weren’t far away from the indoor pool, which was full of screaming children who continued to scream past our room on their way to theirs. This was duplicated by the adults who seemed incapable of lowering their voices in the corridors and if they weren’t yelling or calling to each other they were yelling or calling to their children …at all hours of the day and night.The room was very dated and tired looking, with artex on the ceiling AND the walls which were painted, what I can only describe as, pale nicotine. The room had to remain dark as if we left the curtains open we were on full display to people in the car park.When we arrived the bedside table had a sticky ring on it from the previous occupants and the air conditioning unit was so noisy we had to turn it off at night. Unfortunately we then woke up to the smell of sweaty socks which I can only assume came from the very dodgy carpet.At over $300 per night excluding taxes, this was not value for money at all!!

Liked: Breakfast was great. The hotel was clean, great amenities.
Disliked: The beds were a little hard but not terrible.

Bayside Resort Hotel feels like...

Liked: I loved the amenities. Both pools are a nice size & well maintained as is the indoor hot tub. The tiki bar is so nice to have & it’s not pricey. Loved the fire pits surrounded by Adirondack chairs too! Breakfast was good too.
Disliked: I’d like the beds to be softer. I slept fine after the first night, but prefer more cushioning.

Liked: Clean Great location Nice outdoor pool area Good breakfast Nice Hotel Bar ( Dollar bills were some sight!) Didn’t get a chance to sit at outdoor fire pits but they looked great
Disliked: Bartenders just need to smile a little more They were nice but very quiet
