Disliked: Filth. TV was not hooked up. No toilet paper in the room. People above me were jumping and running through the room. The staff did make a call but did not follow up and it continued.

Liked: Absolutely nothing! There was no security on property. Front door remained unlocked 24/7 with NO staff on the premises. Anyone could walk into hotel at anytime. At approximately 11:00 PM, shortly after we turned out lights, TWO men entered our room with a key! They did not knock, they did not announce themselves, they did not have any ID. They just walked in our room, and could not give any explanation. We tried to call 911, and discovered our phone did not work. We were 4 women, staying in Mackinaw City before a vacation on Mackinac Island. When we tried to report next morning to the property next door, which handled our check in, the doors were locked, with nobody on staff. A sign on the door said to go to Hamilton Inn down the street for any issues! Hamilton Inn said to call corporate HQ!, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! Actually, do not stay at ANY of the hotels in MC that are owned by the family that owns the majority of properties there! They also own many restaurants there! Google “Hotels in Mackinaw City Leighio Family”. They have been investigated by Attorney General for deceptive practices. They control more than 25 hotels in Mackinaw City. BEWARE!!!

Liked: Our room was $74! Room was clean. Good view of the water.
Disliked: We had to go next door to check in and out. Our room keys gave us trouble and we kept getting locked out. No microwave. No chair. No phone to contact staff. Hallways are loud.

Disliked: We were extremely disappointed patrons last night. Left in middle of early morning. Our disppontment was ,Arriving at lobby we were sent on a goose chase to retrieve the room and left with no direction to find our room location. Keeping us hunting a longer 15 minutes.Once room was found and settled, no fridge or microwave which were much needed accommodations for the evening. The rice pads for my back require both.I understand renovating and down season is transitioning but still highly disappointed.
