Lovely location, great restaurants, and...

Liked: Lovely location, and very nice to get a discount by being a guest. The quality and taste of breakfast was great, and having the view of the lake made it more memorable.
Disliked: Pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and not very thick. It would have been nice to check in a bit earlier too as checkout is ultimately at 11:00am the next day so for a 1 night stay, it's actually a very short amount of time you have the room.

Disliked: Not all the staff were rude — on the first night, July 17, the woman at reception was nice. But on July 18, I went to the reception to ask about a microwave, since there wasn’t one in the room. The staff member on duty looked at me as if she owned the place — but I know she wasn’t the owner, because the owner would never speak like that. She acted as if she was above me, treating me like I was less than her, and serving me with an arrogant attitude, as though she ran the place. It seemed obvious she’d never even left the Waterton area — she was blonde with hair curled like a sheep’s.I had just come on vacation right after my Halo laser treatment, with visible scars on my face, and she clearly judged me by my appearance.
