Baymont Inn & Suites Merrillville

The check in was terrible - had to wait until she took 2 calls. Breakfast was undesirable. I'll never stay at this location ever again. I've had a much better experience in MI and MN.

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: Dirty room, could not use wifi, pill was closed, staff was not friendly, room was dirty, lamps had to be plugged in and then unplugged, microwave was filthy, couldn't call front desk, mold in bathroom

Disliked: I ended up not staying here because the place was horrible. The room had mold, the carpet was falling off the base of the wall and was stained. Dirty bedding, holes in the wall. A chair that was falling apart and should have been replaced a long time ago. A shower grab bar the was broken and only hanging on by one side. They refused to give me a refund or any type of receipt. I would not recommend this place to anyone, it should be shut down.

Not very nice

Liked: The rooms need a little updating.The air conditioning needs to have a thermostat instead of low and high. Otherwise it was comfortable.
Disliked: The air.Conditioner was either low or hi, you couldn't set it to 74, 75.It was just blowing I didn't like it. The bathroom needs cleaning and the towels are small and very ruff.The elevator was creepy and noisy. For the money I paid, I expected better than a dive place.

I wouldn't return.

Disliked: I was ignored in my efforts to get a refund for an incorrect date. Lost out on $166 and still paid $88 more to book a room for the correct date. The room i was given was not up to standard on cleanliness. Dirty sheets on the bed, ceiling fixtures falling out over the tub area.

Disliked: Nothing the couches was dirty. Their wasnt a microwave,tv didnt work very run down,staff did not care about thre way u felt after paying your hard earned money
