Baymont by Wyndham Traverse City

Staff was pleasant & courteous. Hotel was approximately 84 degrees at all times even with air conditioning on - could not sleep. Door casing in suite was taped together at the top; carpet overlapped in between suites (trip hazard). Pool heater broken; pool cold. Pool liner was loose/wrinkled, even on steps (trip hazard); jets in Jacuzzi did not work. Pool dimly lit at night. Was told via phone breakfast included eggs and sausage along with basic continental breakfast. This was not true.

Liked: Good location / Comfortable beds / Pleasant and courteous staff.
Disliked: Too hot / Pool heater broken / Pool liner wrippled / Jacuzzi jets did not work / Breakfast not what stated.

Disliked: The room had a foul smell. Fairly certain this was a smoking room at some time. Breakfast food was low quality, and was primarily high carb foods. Thermostat on the wall was not functional. Thermostat built into the AC/Heater in the wall was not accurate and needs to be calibrated. Took us two days to figure out that 60F on AC=about 70F if the heater turned on. Foreign front desk staff difficult to understand. Woke, green hair. piercing-rich employees also not what I'm interested in dealing with.

Liked: The breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: We got the handicap suite so the layout was strange. It took almost 5 minutes for the shower to get warm.

Disliked: Rude staff at check-in, towels too small, coffee in lobby was thick as oil (gross).

Disliked: Need grab bars in shower The fairly working desk. Was not friendly at all. The young man was. We had asked for handicap room. I wasn’t he tried to fix but couldn’t. Thus the bars in tub shower r so important

Liked: Ok! Bacon very oily, undercooked. Coffee not very tasty.
Disliked: Our room bathroom fan was horribly loud!!! When we entered the room at close to 11:00 PM it was about 60 degrees, Freezing! It took about an hour to warm up, such a huge energy waste. Also no remote for TV in the room.
