Liked: The location was perfect.
Disliked: It was pretty dirty. I thought the Baymont that I chose was the one with the hot tub but it wasn’t:(. The breakfast was pretty much out of food by 9:00. The breakfast area was very dirty. The room smelled like mold. Toilet seat was broken.

Liked: Coffee was great and the morning desk clerk was very pleasant to deal with.
Disliked: Room smelled and was not clean, toilet seat was chipped and ridiculously small, no coffee maker, parking lot was horrible. The clerk who checked us in had a thick accent and was difficult to understand. This motel is next to another motel that looked very unsavory.

Meh…ok, needs attention

Liked: It was close to highway.
Disliked: In the parking lot the trash can was overflowing and trash was blowing all over. The landscaping is unkempt, overgrown, and needs attention. The front glass doors were covered with dust and fingerprints. Our room smelled and appeared clean except for the floors. The carpet had sticky spots and the bathroom floor had cleaner residue that left the tile very slick when damp or wet. The bathroom fan was terribly noisy with a clunking sound. The bathtub/shower fixture has no markings left on it to know how to adjust the water and use the shower head. The vanity has been poorly repaired with the front panel attached to the wall using exposed L brackets that appear to be loose leaving a gap between the countertop and the front panel. Dead bugs need to be removed from the bathroom light cover. The bed was very comfortable, linens were clean, and the fridge was useful. Overall, the property needs a good maintenance team to do simple upkeep.

Worst hotel I have ever...

Liked: The lady who worked the desk during the day was helpful. She answered all my questions.
Disliked: My room was situated between two rooms with young kids who were loud and rude. One of the rooms was joined to mine by a door, which the kids tried to open multiple times. One of these times I had just fallen asleep, this freaked me out. I asked to switch rooms and was told this wasn't possible. The remote for the TV didn't change channels, got a new one, and it wouldn't control the volume or turn the TV on or off. When I couldn't figure out how to turn the TV off to fall asleep the second time, the guy working the night shift laughed at me and asked why I couldn't just fall asleep with the TV on? He eventually came down with yet another remote to turn it off. I was told in the morning that the staff did, in fact, talk to the parents of the kids about the noise. I don't believe this as the kids were loud until about midnight. The room looked very rundown. There were no chairs to sit in other than an office style chair, and the carpet was very bumpy.

It was an ok stay.

Liked: It was a place to sleep.
Disliked: This Baymont wasn’t like the others I’ve stayed at. The chair in our room had a large tear on the arm, and overall, it felt like an older motel that they had tried to update. I don’t have anything particularly bad to say about the place, but it just didn’t meet the standards I’ve come to expect from Baymont.
