Staff was extremely cordial and helpful. The property is well maintained. Get a room on the pool side, it might have been a different experience otherwise, as it is right next to the 408 highway toll road. Awesome, awesome otherwise!

Liked: Staff member brought pillows after shift change. He apologized for the inconvenience of having to change rooms. Very kind gentleman.
Disliked: I checked in online bc of our late arrival but still had to go back to the car and get license and credit card. People smoking and sleeping in cars in the parking lot made me very uneasy. The pillows are horrible. I had to call front desk and beg for pillows. (I’ve had shoulder surgery and can’t sleep without extra pillows - they had been requested in the original reservation.) Was originally told no but then a kind gentleman called back to offer some after his shift was over. Breakfast was crowded and unimpressive.

Liked: Five-Star ServiceWe stayed for 5 nights in June, moving son into college here. We were impressed by the quality of the staff and overall property. From check-in to check-out, the experience was on par with what you’d expect at a high-end resort.The staff here is professional, attentive, and clearly takes great pride in their work. What stood out most was seeing the manager himself outside picking up trash around the property—something you rarely see at any hotel, let alone a budget-friendly one. That kind of hands-on care speaks volumes about the culture and standards upheld here.Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hot free breakfast area was spotless, well-stocked, and inviting each morning. Wi-Fi worked great in the business office and front bedrooms, which I highly recommend requesting. They're quieter, have better connectivity, and offer a more relaxing stay overall. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was weak in the back, and that’s where we encountered the only downside to an otherwise excellent stay.Overall, if you’re looking for a stay in Winter Park that blends value with top-tier service, the Baymont is a fantastic choice—especially if you book a room toward the front of the property.
Disliked: Disrespectful guests in the rear area were screaming late into the night and left trash around the premises—behavior that was completely out of step with the hotel’s standards. Their trash degraded the premises.The outstanding staff here doesn’t deserve to have their hard work diminished by this clientele.
