A TERRIBLE HOTEL!!!!

Liked: The hotel is located close to many restaurants and downtown Orangebug. It also has easy access to the interstate.
Disliked: The hotel was HORRIBLE! The first room I was given was totally disgusting. I almost cried when I walked through the door. The lighting was terrible in the room, which I see why now. They didn't want you to see how dirty and run down the hotel is. The bed had red blood on the mattress pad, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom, the tub had some sponge like mat, and a ring of some sort covering the rust in the tub and drain. There was a big piece of the shower enclosure cut out in the back of the shower. The sink fixtures were old and rusty looking, and the toilet seat looked like it was removed from the trash and placed on the toilet! The room smelt of smoke, which I requested a NON-SMOKING room.The carpet was dirty and frayed in areas. I don't think they bothered to vacuum in there either! I was afraid to touch anything! I went straight to the office and told the clerk I couldn't stay in there because it wasn't suitable for humans! She gave me another room, which was slightly better, but still below my standards! But at least it had a newer toilet and nicer vanity. The rest of the room was in need of remodeling! If I hadn't already paid for my stay, I would have left and went to another hotel!!! I had to wipe all the surfaces down, along with the door handles and sprayed Lysol on EVERYTHING before I even considered touching anything in there. There was NO fitness center, the pool was broken, NO blow dryer, and the iron didn't work, also NO ice machine, it was thrown in the corner of the nasty laundry room! My stay was a total nightmare with the loud water pipes behind the wall of my room and the inconsiderate other tenants staying there talking loud at 5:00 am outside my door!..I ended up leaving 2 days early because I wasn't comfortable there and didn't sleep well...I will NEVER stay there again!The hotel is seedy looking and reminds me of some place that you would pay by the hour for!..
