Liked: Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: Facility run down in appearance and security. Original room smelled heavily of smoke (for a no smoking hotel). Asked to be relocated. Second room smelled heavily of smoke as well. Housekeeping explained they are slowly working to replace carpets to woods floors. Hotel is not secure from non guests. External doors do not lock at any hours - even though they have a key card capability. Traveling alone with kids, I was hoping for better overall security of the facility. Rooms also did not fully latch without manually closing. Breakfast started too late in morning (7 am). Would be helpful if started at 6 - or a package grab and go option were available. Missed value for what we paid for. Rooms generally clean but run down. Aside from smoke odor, room appliances barely worked - fridge not cold and microwave banged up and dented. Bathroom door required force to close - waking other room occupants. Could hear traffic from freeway/road outside. A/C unit did work well. No working ice machine on our wing of the building.
