Disliked: The staff charged me 4 dollars and 30 cents for a can of coke and tried to not give me my change. The next day I found out the can of coke was only 2 dollars and 30 cents. I spoke with management who made excuses why I was overcharged and not given my change then eventually they gave me my change. Shady people, watch out. Lastly this place smells bad.

Liked: Rooms were clean. Nice Indian restaurant inside the hotel. The bar/lounge was OK - had beer and distilled spirits, but no wine at all.
Disliked: The hotel was just OK. Not great. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and courteous. If you plan to stay at this hotel, be aware that when I arrived the elevator had been out of service for months. If you have difficulty with stairs, request a ground floor room. This is Midland/Odessa - lots of oil field workers. The hallway carpets really needed a cleaning - there was a dark pathway in the hallways and on the stairs where the workers with grimy shoes had walked. The price was high for only an adequate room - but the better grade hotels were filled and had higher rates than you find other cities. Again, related to the oil business in Midland Odessa.
