Mediocre.

Liked: The room was clean and functional and the price is great. So for what we needed (just a place to sleep) it was fine.
Disliked: The lobby was uninviting and all of the carpets in the lobby were stained which makes you wonder if the rooms are going to be passable (they were fine, but it was a moment of wonder about what we got ourselves into). The lobby reflects the hotel quality and it was shockingly dirty and uninviting. The carpets in the hallways were thread bare worn in places and needed sections replaced. The stairwells reflected what it should have been like in the hallways. It seemed very run down. The staff was "fine". The breakfast .. hard no! Not even a banana.

Liked: I very much appreciated the good breakfast.
Disliked: The drain in my room’s shower was extremely slow. I reported the problem to the front desk but it was not corrected.

Exceptional

Good place to stay if...

Liked: It was close to Camp Randall.
Disliked: Could have been a bit cleaner. When we arrived, there was a mess in the hallway/someone spilled chips and using the stairs there was some stains on the walls.

It was a short one...

Liked: This is the part that needed improvement. The equipment and set up wasn’t good neither was the furniture. Very unappealing. The coffee was ok. The seating needed improvement chairs we falling apart. Completely turned us off.
Disliked: The halls and breakfast area needed improvement. The halls could be painted a neutral color and let the pictures stand out. They were fine Basic blue and red accent didn’t work. Maybe that is still being planned but worked more on the rooms. Looks nice from the outside and rooms were like new.
