Disappointing

Disliked: Food was left in the fridge from previous guest and pillow covers had black marks on them

Poor

Liked: Location was great. Bed was comfy.
Disliked: Smell. It seems like people have smoked a lot in those rooms. Walls and carpet smell like cigarettes.Poor lighting. Room looked very worn out.

Disappointing

Liked: I did like that it was close to restaurants
Disliked: I was very upset that the room I reserved wasn't available, and I had to be put in a different room. Also, I didn't like the fact that I wound up being put on the 3rd floor with service animals. Then, the lady at the front counter seemed like she had a hard time understanding English. I believe I should have received a bit of a discount for having to take a room I didn't book.

Very good

Liked: I like the location. It’s close to everything for the most part.
Disliked: I’ve stayed there this month on 4 separate occasions and it’s one staff member that I feel is really rude. My 2nd time staying I wanted to pay for late check out (which I had done before) she wrote my room number down and said you got til 12 not even letting me pay like I wanted. I had to wait for her to leave and have another staff member do it for me. This past weekend I was placed in a room my first night there I wasn’t too happy about but stuck it out being that I did book last minute. So they next morning I called and asked I if it was possible for me to switch rooms this same lady questioned me as to why and what was wrong with the room. I gave answers although I feel as if I shouldn’t have had to I paid my money! She stated I would have to wait til 2 to see if they had rooms available in which I had already looked online and seen they had multiple rooms available. Not even a full hour later as I’m showering she calls and say you can switch rooms but you have to come switch right now.

Bad Experience!

Liked: Price was reasonable
Disliked: Pretty rough experience, they gave me keys to a room and we unlocked the door and started to walk in and it was already occupied by guests. That was very scary because what if that happened to us. I was mortified! That has never ever happened to me before! Our room was on a busy road so you could hear traffic all night long and people walking outside. It was very hard to go to sleep and I was woke up early from noise. We went early to pay at 11 am to make sure they knew we were for sure staying that night because we knew we wouldn’t be back until after 6pm. We knew we wouldn’t be able to check in to our room yet but I read that if you’re not there before a certain time to pay that they will not hold your room. You would think they would have saved us a decent us a decent room on the other side where it was quiet (I told them when I booked the room 2 weeks prior that I am a light sleeper) and reminded them of that again when I paid at 11am. Very disappointing stay!

Liked: Great location for travelling to tigers game
Disliked: Room smelled like old cigarettes. Paint peeling on the walls. Breakfast was terrible. This hotel needs major room upgrades. Will never stay here again. Even if it was free!
