Baymont by Wyndham Lakeland

This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room looked like it was under construction. The floor was put in poorly, so the noise when you walked was loud as some spots were shallow underneath. Baseboards were missing, or laying on the floor. The shower rod was installed incorrectly, so the curtain fell to the center any time you tried to close it. The shower head had been replaced, but the work was unfinished, with white spackle was all around it, and the walls. My room was never cleaned. Had to take towels down for replacement. If you didn't get down to Breakfast by 0745 there was no food left. Coffee was cold sometimes. No one should have been allowed to stay in these rooms.

Liked: The bed was the only thing I liked.

Great hotel; clean; modern rooms; friendly staff; good breakfast and overall a pleasant experience and a very quiet and peaceful stay.

Disliked: The room smelt like mold.The toilet didn't flush.There were not enough towels for one person much less two.When we went for breakfast. The counters were dirty. The waffle iron had stuck batter to it. That you couldn't remove. The juice tasted bad. The staff were not present at the desk when we arrived or when we tried to check out. They would come from an office or somewhere when someone needed help. I understand it looks like it's under construction but there is a lot that needs attention.

Disliked: Incredibly understaffed. Had an issue and no one was at the front desk for over half an hour. Room seemed like all that was done was make the bed. Dirty towels left in my bathroom from previous person who stayed there, it was crusty and gross. Blinds broken. No soap or shampoo. Dispenser was also already broken.
