Baymont by Wyndham Kalamazoo West

We stayed over for WMU graduation at Miller Auditorium. We had a very pleasant stay and the staff was exceptionally friendly and customer service oriented. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite and everything ran very smoothly, the room was comfortable and we would definitely book at the Baymont again!

Liked: Easy to access & check in.
Disliked: Ac barley worked. Every single thing in our room was unplugged. Our sink didnt drain. There was no screen or security measures on our 3rd story window (wasn't a big deal for a trip with adults but as a parent I wouldn't bring my kids)

Liked: Staff was great trying to help me in the situation the my family and I was.Bed has a bed bug the first day they wa unable to change my room next day I talkes to the manager she just apologizes then later in the night I came back try to open the room but they change us frotm that room because they spray it. They did not call me to tell me and I still have belonging at that room.
Disliked: Toilet has problem to flush and the room has a bed bug the first day they were unable to change my room next day I talked to the manager she just apologizes. The room itself was nice....

Liked: Not much of a selection for breakfast. Only waffles or cornflakes or bagels or yogurt.
Disliked: Need More staff. No coffee pot in room. Mattress cover did not stay in place. Only lots of hair conditioner in bathroom and half used shampoo no lotion.

Exceptional

Liked: Because the front desk clerk Jay is very proficient in her work, I have great trust in this hotel. So when I return, I would rather drive an extra hour to stay here again. The hotel is located near the highway and is also very quiet. The hygiene meets the hotel's standard, and I am very satisfied. However, I found that the reviews are not very high. I think it is underestimated. In fact, whether it is hygiene or other aspects, this hotel is very good.

Disliked: Elevator scares me with all of its noises and squeaks. Our sheets had burns on them and yellow spots. Toilet seat was not attached right. Other than that it was a very nice place
