Baymont by Wyndham Kalamazoo West

We stayed over for WMU graduation at Miller Auditorium. We had a very pleasant stay and the staff was exceptionally friendly and customer service oriented. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite and everything ran very smoothly, the room was comfortable and we would definitely book at the Baymont again!

Disliked: The TV didn't work there was no phone in the room and when I had to get up early in the morning to take a veteran on an honor flight there was no WATER.

Worst hotel state I have...

Liked: No breakfast was served because the hotel did not have power. During breakfast hours. Also hotel had no water for a period of three hours during the night.
Disliked: The fact that the hotel did not have water for a period of time overnight. They lost power and it does not have a back up generator, which should be pretty much standard in this point in time. Emergency lights were not working. And I had to take a handicapped person down four flights of steps in the dark. Along with people roaming the halls all hours of the night and unable to securely lock my door. Also, the toilets were leaking on the floor when I had water

Liked: Bed was comfy
Disliked: No hot water for a shower, coffee packs in room but no coffee maker, toilet would not flush, elevator smells, elevator also sounded like the belts were going to break, we were on the 4th floor didn't trust elevator, so took steps. Will never go to this hotel again

adequate, but barely

Disliked: the bathroom door didn't fully close; the coat rack was loose from the wall; the clock was wrong and couldn't be changed; there was no juice at breakfast; on the second day, there was neither cream cheese nor peanut butter for the bagels.

Liked: the staff is awesome

Liked: Access to the highway. AM staff was very cordial
Disliked: I reserved a King room, was told they didn't have any. ????Breakfast was a joke, juice machine was not working at all, one toaster and 1 waffle iron for 8-10 people who were there. Small quart sized warmer for eggs etc
