Baymont by Wyndham Kalamazoo East

My overall review of Baymont By Wyndham Kalamazoo East is poor. Don't waste your money; spend an extra 25 bucks and stay in something better.

Liked: Ease of checking in.
Disliked: The room was so small I felt as if I slept in a closet and the water from sink and shower came out brown. Also you could see the light of day under our rather crappy door. Only one bath towel per person and they were very thin. At 8:30 am there was nothing left to eat except the very small muffins that were dry.

One night stay; quiet; did not take advantage of free breakfast - slept in. Very accommodating with early check in and late check out. Staff very friendly!

Liked: Close to the venue and easy to get to off the highway.
Disliked: Bathroom not as clean as I would prefer. Vent needed cleaning and there was hair throughout.

Liked: Awesome pillows, mini fridge and microwave.
Disliked: The air/heater made a funny smell.

Disliked: U like COCK ROACHES N U TAKE ONE IN A CUP TO FRONT DESK U THINK THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING MOVE U TO DIFFERENT ROOM WOULD BIN NICE FRONT DESK LADY JUST ASK WHAT ROOM I WAS IN THEN TOOK THE CUP THAT WAS IT MY OPINION RUDE ASS HELL DID NOTHING DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER I NO ALL ROOMS WERE NOT FULL BECAUSE THAT HONESTLY THINK I SHOULD GET REFUND NEVER STAYED ANYWHERE WERE THEY LEAST DIDN'T MOVE U I WILL BE CALLING MAIN OFFICE

Liked: Corunna at the front desk was the only highlight.
Disliked: I would say this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at and I don't think sharing feedback will make a difference.

Not the best experience

Liked: Close to venue
Disliked: To start they never checked my ID when checking in so anyone could have checked in with just my last name. We had wrestling all weekend leaving the hotel at 7 o’clock in the morning, not getting back until after six and we were told that we could not get extra pillows blankets or anything because laundry didn’t open until eight and they were gone by five. They would not drop any extras off in our room. We had to get them from the front desk. The outside doors did not close and when we did pull them close behind us, we would go back out and they would be open again, so not very safe at all. We had to switch rooms because the first room the keys that we got remade three times would not work. The TV did not work. We had to program our own remote in the new room because it was not working correctly when going down for breakfast in the morning we decided to eat elsewhere because there was food and crumbs and all kinds of stuff all over the counters and the floor like nobody was cleaning. Overall, just not a great stay definitely will not stay here again and then we were told no refunds so we ended up staying the whole time even though we would’ve preferred somewhere a little more clean and safe.

NIGHTMARE

Liked: Good location
Disliked: We rented a king jacuzzi suit. The bed was broken. The tv in the main room was broken the remote did not work for either tv even after changing the batteries.there was clear water damage on several walls. And spots where the mop board was missing we cleaned out the tub twice and it was nasty. My wife and i will never stay here again

Liked: Nothing it was all broken down and dirty.
Disliked: Smell, upkeep, staff unhelpful, the room was beat down and dirty. TVs suck and couldn’t get them to work. Jacuzzi was dirty and cut my foot on the plug. Bed was falling apart and not comfortable. The whole room needed upkeep and maintenance.

Liked: Staff was really helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Elevator broken. Room door had to be slammed shut otherwise it wouldn’t close. Sheets on both beds had stains.
