STILL NOT HAPPY ABOUT NO...

Liked: Loved the room size. Lots of bells and whistles like an actual complete table with space, sofa, lights and lamps, etc. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge, desk, and other things too. Had a spa room. Liked the high ceilings. It added comfort to not feel like your boxed in a room. The bed was huge. Lots of pillows and upon arrival lots of towels, which personally is a huge factor for me. I don't reuse towels. Place for hanging clothes. Even a full iron board and iron. Loved the mirrors and I'm not usually a mirror person. The room itself was quite nice. Didn't make it to breakfast but when checking out it definitely sounded amazing. I really liked the desk attendant TERRI. She was very happy and personable. Oh and I loved the amount of soaps and bathing samples they provided. They even had full size dispensers in the shower. Footstools in the room too. I wasn't in the room alot this visit but will definitely use them if I stay again.
Disliked: The in room spa was wonderful. However there were a few drawbacks for me. I'm a middle aged female, big girl, with ankle damage. The tub width to climb over was not comfortable. To sit on was a uncomfortable being the edges had uneven raised tops. It's the actual design of the tub itself which isn't the motels fault. The bottom is like a sheet of ice. I would seriously hope the motel would add some type of hand grip and something in the bottom of the tub to keep from slipping. I had some bars put in my parents home by Grab Bar Pro Llc out of Jackson Mich. I highly recommend his work, the motel could benefit in preventative measures. I was very disappointed that the pool was still not open. Another drawback was there were only 2 entrance doors to the elevator area and one wasn't functioning the 2nd day of my visit. All those doors really need to function. But I did see they are doing some work to the interior so I assume they will probably fix things. I will follow the progress bc the place does have the potential to be a favorite for me.

The basics done right

Liked: The breakfast was minimal but had several options: cereal, yogurt, toasted waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, etc. Gets the job done and I appreciated options. Overall it's just a decent place to stay at a good price with kind staff.
Disliked: The pillows had little to no support and several facilities were not available, such as the pool being closed for a safety(cleaning?) issue or the juice machine being down at breakfast. But overall it got the job done.

Disliked: Didn’t realize they were renovating. Some, not serious,issues, that were taken care of by wonderful staff

Nice room and great staff.

Liked: Property is in a good location, good and clean room. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Pool was closed, and the A/C was at 64 and we still woke up sweating.

Poor

Liked: Close to where we needed to be.
Disliked: The bathroom had dirty linens in it, the room was not very clean, and tried calling the front desk 2 times to get things with no answer.

Not what we expected from...

Disliked: Pool was closed. Ice machine on third floor didn't work. Wallpaper and ceiling peeling. Hole in carpet of room. Breakfast was sad.
