Liked: Perfectly located less than a block from my destination park.
Disliked: Hot tub was closed during my stay

Quick one night stay.

Liked: Excellent breakfast...and found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I have osteoarthritis and I found it difficult to get into the bed as it was quite high...but that's just a problem for me, I'm sure other guests didn't have any trouble.

Excellent value for a family...

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, and great location for our purposes. It's across the street from Six Flags Great America which was NOT the purpose of our visit, but for those who are going to the amusement park, this is a great place to stay! We reserved the king suite for the two of us and our two cats. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent coffee in the breakfast area; food pretty much what you'd expect at a hotel at this price point. Laundry room very convenient with new W/D.
Disliked: The sofa in our room was adequate, but the upholstery wasn't terribly comfortable and it had a few small holes and stains. We brought blankets to cover the furniture and protect it from our cats, but honestly, they couldn't have done any more damage than it had already seen.

Why are you policing breakfast

Liked: I honestly like the hotel. The location is great. It's ckean, and the staff is friendly. We have stayed here several times. It's our go-to when visiting the area.
Disliked: The hot tube has NEVER worked in 3 years we have stayed there. This recent trip we learned you can no longer take breakfast to your room. This is why we will not be returning. We enjoy a private breakfast as part of our slow start morning when vacationing. Being policed for fake eggs and microwave sausage is not going to work for us.
