Run Down

Liked: Employees were respectful and nice.
Disliked: Very run down. All furniture stained and worn even the tables have Marks all over them the couch was very stained. Needs paint everywhere. The carpets look bad overall Run Down

Disliked: Checked into out of order room with drywall damage, mismatch paint, stain on bed skirt. Told that the hotel was in process of being repainted and updated so that explains the mismatch paint. If this is the case it should be noted on hotel details that the hotel is in process of updating. Was offered half off room rate but instead of getting refund I was actually charged an additional $60. I didn?t get a folio under my door so assumed it would be ok since it was a quick one night stay so didn?t go to front desk to get the receipt. I noticed this on my credit card statement a couple weeks after so I called and no one could explain why instead of a refund I was actually charged an additional $60. Took almost a month to get that money refunded back as well as to obtain the original refund. Called several times to property and manager was never there and a front office staff who ?didn?t know? if he would be in or when. And there was no one there to correct it. Was promised a call from the manager on three separate occasions. Called corporate to file complaint. Called property one last time after the last promised call and again no manager there so front office girl texted manager who called me and basically acted like he had no idea what was going on when I was told he had looked at my folio and would call me. He did eventually correct the refund but again after several calls from me and hours on line with corporate. I expected a lot more from a hotel by Wyndham. I am sad to see they leave the hotel unmanaged a lot of days without giving the front office staff the power to correct issues that come up. The owners of this property really need to get a better handle on things. I have a background with Hilton and this would have never happened and if it did, it would have been corrected immediately. Corporate finally did end up offering a remainder refund of my stay but in my opinion it should have never got to that point. Manager at this property said he couldn?t do that.

One of a kind accommodations.

Liked: I have been staying at this property on and off for a year, and this time, I stayed over a month, due to the overall great experience. Jason, the Manager, is very professional, and he is always so willing to serve, going beyond and above to meet and exceed the customer expectations. Esther, the morning Receptionist, does an excellent job, she has outstanding product knowledge, and she always meets and exceeds my expectations. Each member of the cleaning crew, does an outstanding job. I am going to miss this property and the Staff, since I am relocating, and this has been the best experience ever.
Disliked: There's nothing I can think of.

Liked: The location was great and the price was very reasonable.
Disliked: The bathroom badly needed to be updated. The light switches for the bathroom were located on the outside by the bed very odd. The water temperature never stayed hot. It would go cold then warm then maybe hot. And the heater system needs to be upgraded. The temperate would not heat up, then in the middle of the night you?d wake up suffocating like you?re in a sauna.

It was a very nice...

Liked: I liked the friendly staff and how they immediately took care of my needs when I called them from my room. I loved the jacuzzi bathtub. The breakfast was terrific. My room was warm and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near Gurney Mills Mall. The theater there is also wonderful, with great food and reclining seats.
Disliked: The hot tub was not working while I was there, that was disappointing.
