Liked: That bath was big and nice.
Disliked: There was a bunch of trash under the bed. The staff was very rude and there was no communication about the pool being down until we showed up. Then the staff tried his hardest to accommodate us. However, the manager had messaged me through booking.com and was very nasty.

Liked: The employees handled an extremely difficult situation with grace and kindness. The city had a horrible ice storm and the power was out which caused a lot of issues obviously. They not only handled it well but made refunding the other days I wouldn’t be able to stay back with zero issues. Highly recommend.

Crappy trip, nice staff.

Liked: We were stuck on a trip north in an ice storm and decided to just stay in Gaylord for the night. We saw this hotel had a pool and so we went and bought swim suits after booking and headed to the hotel. We got there and were told the pool was closed. However there was a massive puddle outside the office that our car couldn’t drive through. So I guess they had an outdooor pool. 🙄 they did offer for us to use their sister hotel pool, but we would have to drive there… in the middle of an ice storm, with our small children. Due to the massive puddle/lake in the parking lot we had to park in the lot next door which led to me falling multiple times trying to carry my small children and bags to the car the next morning. I understand the weather wasn’t their fault, but it led to a huge inconvenience, and we were already irritated about the pool because had we known it was closed we would have booked elsewhere. I asked if we could cancel since I didn’t know and was told they couldn’t waive the cancelation fee. The staff was great, the breakfast wasn’t good at all.

Liked: Good breakfast. Clean eating area and well stocked stations. Good choice in coffee.
Disliked: Television a bit awkward to use. A better channel guide would help.
