Liked: It was a decent breakfast and not the continental type, so we got eggs and sausage. The location is great, away from traffic and feels you are secluded which takes the ease off stress.
Disliked: There was no mention on remodeling or construction when i booked, so seeing workers going about carrying ladders, plaster dust, paint and drywall ships all over, not to mention the lobby and food areas, counters, were covered in drywall dust. The sheets on the bed looked like they were re-used from the previous night. You can tell when bedding is clean or appropriately taken care of. The beds were sagging in the middle, we were unable to control the volume on the tv for a bit so it was very loud. The siding on the wall separated and I was afraid it would come off and injure my kids. The key cards and scanners did not work properly, you had to fight with it to get it to work on the elevator and room door. The door handle opened backwards which was odd. The handicapped spot in front of the hotel was blocked to make room for the construction equipment, so it was a little bit more effort than usual to walk up the steps. The staff was nice and all but peculiar. Not long after we checked in, the guy at the front desk tried to enter our room for no reason, after asking what he wanted, he just walked off. Housekeeping was persistent in knocking the door after we told them we didn't need servicing. First time for anything I guess. Just wish they spoke English so we could better communicate.

Liked: The shower was very good. Good pressure and temp. Bed were comfortable.
Disliked: Hotel was being remodeled. Rooms were really small. TV was small and the sound crackled.

Disliked: I usually select what room I get. Now, those good rooms are reserved and only the worst rooms are available to solo guests. It was terrible. Can get the same for half the cost. Staying somewhere else from now on.

Disliked: Front door had space for the cold snowing air to get in the room

Disliked: Shampoo and lotion were empty. They were the small ones that are replaced (or not, in this case). Very awkward to get to our room, as my husband can’t use stairs. Part of that was due to construction, which will upgrade the front reception area.
