Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines North

Not a bad experience. I would stay there again for that price. Did not feel uncomfortable. Shuttle service would have been nice.

Liked: Beds were so comfortable.
Disliked: Needs updated; not in a great part of town.

I would never recommend this hotel too anybody!! We booked the Baymont on NE 14th St. When we walked in it smelled like a nursing home it was soo small and nothing like the pictues. There were linens laying around. To get to our room we had to drive around back to another building our room looked like it was from the 70s or something and was soo small the ceiling was only a cpl inches from our head there was barely any lighting at all. I didn't even feel safe to set down it was such a gross place for safe for my well being at that. I would never recommend this place to anybody at all!!

I picked a bad hotel!

Liked: I book 2 rooms with 2 QUEENS! The door didn't work. Never vacuuming. The bathroom door never closed, and I was off hinged. Sex lube in drawer? TV nerver work. Larvae on sheets and ants crickets dirty sheets with black hair. Dirty curtains. Someone fists hit the windows and broke the double windows. Security was bad!but I had an iron for help. Booking.com should remove this listing.

Disappointing

Liked: The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: I waited over an hour and a half to check in because my rooms were not ready. Then one of my rooms the air conditioner was not working.

This hotel is a death...

Liked: Nothing about the property was good. The first room we got had no air-conditioning and like a musty marijuana smell. So they did give us a different room. Then come to find out within 30 minutes they had given our old room to another older couple.
Disliked: I didn’t like that they did not use any of the security doors. They kept propping them open with rocks the one security door they just unplugged so it never locked securely. I’m pretty sure it was the staff doing it. It is on camera. You should be able to look it up and see who is unplugging it. Lots of people complained that they did not have clean towels. The breakfast was a joke. The only thing there was to eat was dry cereal, and waffles. There was no butter or syrup, only jelly, packets, and bread. Some yogurts were available. As we got ready to leave, we happen to run into a sheriff walking right by the property so we talk to him a while and he said there’s lots of drug activity going on there and people should not stay at this hotel. I think it is a big legal liability for Wyndham to keep this building open. I think they are putting people in danger.
