It was good

Liked: Overall good stay for being in and out of the room. It was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel was nice. Had a room by parking lot, heard a lot of car coming in and out. Room seemed clean but did find someone else’s sock behind a chair.
Disliked: Cleaning job might not of been as good as I thought .

Liked: The location was fine…. (But so is every other hotel and motel in Carlsbad). We were visiting the national park and this offered a place to stay for the night. There is someone living in a camper right outside though. Made sure I locked my doors 3-4 times.
Disliked: I was very disappointed with our stay. For starters, the bed had stains on it as did the carpet. The building was built extremely cheap as the outlets stick out from the walls, and fixtures are crooked across the walls. The shower was a walk in shower for people with disabilities and it was no joke on a slant so all the water goes into the bathroom and has no drain. Hilariously bad. Walls are PAPER thin. Somehow I got so lucky to have a joint room and there was a two way deadbolt so someone could have easily came into our room. Propped up the computer chair in front just as an alarm if someone stumbled in. Unfortunately heard drunk oil/gas workers most of the night. Didn’t sleep as I was on edge about my family feeling unsafe. Nothing like paying $130+ for that experience.

Enjoyed the room but got...

Liked: Clean and comfortable break from the road.
Disliked: There was a full breakfast, but everything was ill prepared and thus tasted terrible. We usually like those kinds of eggs okay but they tasted like powder when we went.
