Liked: Location.
Disliked: Firstly, I spoke with Ashton on March 2 and requested for a roll-away bed. She said, "Yes, we can do that because you are in a king room." I checked in Friday morning at 12:30 pm and asked for a roll-away bed and was told there was no roll-away bed. Our friend's room was not cleaned and she had to be moved to another room. That was the first red flag. We were also told that the manager quit on 4/24. We also found out that the shower doesn't work, and the drain in the tub doesn't work. I requested it at 9 am with the front desk, and when we came back at 10 pm, NO WORK was done. I gave them the time to fix it. I called the front desk the next morning, and Ashton was very defensive and ALWAYS talked over you SHE DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE! She has absolutely no customer service skills. She said that they had hired a manager on 4/25. Amazing - NOT! But she doesn't want to give me her name or let me talk to her over the phone. I was also told that their maintenance guy quit that day, 4/25. How can a hotel run without a maintenance guy? Also, if they valued their customers, they would have already called a plumbing company and fixed the issue. After all the rudeness, ASHTON, she TOLD ME that they will refund me one day of stay, but I have to leave the hotel right away and said, "GOOD LUCK WITH FINDING ANOTHER ROOM SINCE THERE'S AN EVENT GOING ON THIS WEEKEND!" I called Double Tree, and they have rooms available, and more rooms are available in the hotels down the street. Fast forward, I was able to talk to Ted from the city management office and they said they will start an investigation Monday. I had forwarded the videos and pictures to them. I also kick myself on the butt because I didn't realized they were on the "STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO STAY AWAY FROM" list of hotels for the event. So if you are new to Battle Creek, trust me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! There are crawling spiders here as well.

Liked: The staff were friendly
Disliked: Smelled like cigarettes and drugs wasn’t the best looking hotel

Disliked: The elevator was broke. The room was not clean and the bathtub was stopped up

Liked: The room was good. The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The pool had bugs in it. The hot tub didn’t work and was dirty

Liked: Chair in room old & dirty, with visible stains on chair, toilet stained. drain in shower/tub didnt drain.

Battle creek

Liked: Hotel was close to I94
Disliked: The hotel was dirty and in poor condition. Laminated signs everywhere about rules to follow, only allowed one towel per guest for the pool, no return for a clean one between swimming.

We will not be staying...

Liked: Located by lots of restaurants
Disliked: We reserved 2 rooms 2 queen beds in each and we only given single queen beds. We traveled with 4 kids our rooms were not next to each other even though one room had an adjoining door. The building was not clean and I have never been to a hotel that makes guests check towels in and out and has them carry the wet ones down to the front desk and return them.

DEAD MOUSE IN POOL

Disliked: The rooms in the hotel were very dirty, the beds were not even connected to headboards and they slid when ever you sat on them, microwave in the room didn't hardly work, elevator stopped working with a sign saying out of order. Hottub did work properly. My kids went to the pool to swim and found a dead mouse in the pool an employee asked why the door was open, which my kids didn't know why. But he saw the mouse and said nothing to my kids. My kids left the pool to come report it to me, I went to the front desk mentioned it to another employee the pool still remained open. At check out, I told Erica the pool needs to be closed and cleaned completely, that it was not acceptable for this to be happening. No manager was on duty either.
