I was worried about the neighborhood because of prior reviews but we had a great experience. No loud guests or shady people in the parking lot. Best of all, it shares a parking lot with Amaya's Taco Village - great food you can walk to. Overall, a great experience for a basic motel. Clean, comfy room.

Liked: Good price; friendly and helpful check in staff.
Disliked: Saturday morning clerk not so friendly.

Disliked: The lighting was dim, and I had to turn on most of the lights to make it brighter.

Disliked: Light flickering by the bathroom sink. The lighting in the room was not so bright. Had to turn all lights on. The shower tub wasn't my liking.

Disliked: When we entered our room, we saw three roaches crawling up the wall toward the bathroom. When we notified the front desk clerk, he said he would send someone 15 minutes past by no one came. It took two more times before someone finally brought bug spray. Very lackadaisical customer service approach. Also, no hangers or waste basket in the room. I used the plastic ice bucket as a waste basket. We checked out 1 day early.
