Bayfront Inn

What a great find. We have been to St. Augustine multiple times and this is my new favorite place. Great location to walk to everything and a beautiful view of the bay.

Liked: Great location and beds were comfortable.
Disliked: We selected a Queen Room w a View. The room was a first floor corner room (124) and the view was of a bush and street construction. The AC was struggling because it was the end unit and was a hot day. We asked to be moved and they were super nice and accommodating. We really appreciated it.

Liked: The location is very good, with a short walk to nearly everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many rooms have views of the bay. Reasonable price given the bayfront location. But ...
Disliked: Years of deferred maintenance have taken a toll on the facilities: ceiling leak with staining and pealed paint in the lobby, warped flooring in rooms, rotting frame in bathroom window, noisy aging a/c units, beat up furniture, scuffed doors and walls. Except for the flat screen TVs, the rooms could be from the 1980s. I have pleasant memories of staying here several years back. Surely, this hotel takes in sufficient revenue to fund some much-needed updates.

Disliked: My only complaint is the room did not have a full sized mirror so we were unable to see our full body in the only mirror in the room. We couldn’t see past the top of our chests - we couldn’t see the clothes we were putting on.
