Based on signatures that are required upon one's arrival, this hotel must have many unruly patrons and is located in a part of town where crime is a consideration. We were going to walk a quarter mile to the historic Train Depot for a concert and were told it was not wise to walk - we should drive or Uber. Our heat would not turn off and we slept in an 81 degree room. There are too many other choices to stay in MB. Will not return.

Liked: Nothing stood out.
Disliked: Heat setting was not working - thermostat set at 70, yet the heat would not cut off. It was 81 in the room as we tried to sleep.

Disliked: Fire alarms keep going off and none of the staff was contacting us to let us know what was the issue!! And the elevator was down from 7 am to 12pm very in covenant when you trying to load your vehicle to leave and staff didn’t tell us about that issue neither smh…. I need some type of compensation!!

Disliked: The elevators get overcrowded and stopped working we had to wait until they fixed it other than that everything was wonderful I enjoyed my stay I will be back.

Liked: Quiet room, additional security when entering end rooms
Disliked: Doors not working, elevators not working, the room was to be Oceanview but we had a view of building and very little of the ocean. Did not look like the room I booked for the price.

Disliked: There is no lobby. The room smelled terrible, it was dirty and old, the carpets were damp. There was also black mold everywhere. The door to the balcony did not close. This room was absolutely not worth what we paid for it. The pools were also dirty. On the day of check out, the elevator was broken and we found ourselves with children and luggage on the 15th floor in a terrible situation. I do not recommend this hotel.

Liked: We stayed here a couple times now because we had liked it. The best part is location and boardwalk with out the door beach access. And we have a family of 4 my husband and I and two kids so the condo we had rented worked perfectly for us, spacious Noone untop of each other, seperate bedrooms for us and the kids. And we had ocean front view out our living room window and our hole bedroom windows. Basically sitn on the beach it felt like.
Disliked: Last year 2 years we had to skip myrtle due to person reasons. So after not going for 2 years and returning the place went down hill beyond belief so fast. It's not anything it use to be. It used to be so clean, better friendlier staff, kept up with around the facilities, a better safer feeling area fo be in with family. More food places for quick meals. Cleaner streets, and the indoor pool and lazy river was kept up with as well as monitoring it by staff to ensure all rules were followed, safer place, clean ect. The pool is a free for all do wjhatever you want, constantly have to have eyes glued to your kjds jn there. They throw balls in the pool n lzy river hitting people and laugh about it. They drink in them, its rowdy. Adults push and shove little kids. Kids and adults picking each ither up and throwing em across the pool and play dunking making it unsafe to be in due to getting hurt. Alot of the streets are run down, not safe friendly people aroind. Alot of abandon places around that were never abandoned and boarded up. Any other time we were there we would do boardwalk and out on beach late at night with the kids n flashlights. Now you don't even want to leave the condo when dusk/dark sets in. The people there use to.be clean, polite. Now people that are there are trashy, gangish, drug deals on and around the property. It was quietish after 10-11 for most part normal moderate mevel youd expect, now music blasts , people outside drunk yelling very very loudly and we were on 3rd floor at 2 and 3 a.m. bottles being busted on the sidewalk. The gym has like 8 machines in it and only 4 worked the others were broken and pieces laying around of equipment. They use always have it clean, nothing broke if it was itd be fixed within a couple hours. We stayed for 8 days. The entire condo is non smoking... the hole time we were there it was like a giant weed factory. Hallways, sitting out in our balconies, it was even coming through our walls from neighbors.
