Bay View Resort Myrtle Beach

Based on signatures that are required upon one's arrival, this hotel must have many unruly patrons and is located in a part of town where crime is a consideration. We were going to walk a quarter mile to the historic Train Depot for a concert and were told it was not wise to walk - we should drive or Uber. Our heat would not turn off and we slept in an 81 degree room. There are too many other choices to stay in MB. Will not return.

Liked: Nothing stood out.
Disliked: Heat setting was not working - thermostat set at 70, yet the heat would not cut off. It was 81 in the room as we tried to sleep.

Liked: The room was not clean m there was hair on the night stand , there were roaches on the floor.
Disliked: The room was not clean properly . The first person that worked the front desk was male and was not customer friendly, probably should not be on the front desk.
