Centrally located but room small...

Liked: A light breakfast was provided. Central location. Parking provided conveniently located.
Disliked: Room was small and hot. Had to keep window open so passing traffic was very noisy.

Great stay in central Bath

Liked: Great ground floor room in host's house. Very clean room. Breakfast was provided in a small refrigerator across the hall from our bedroom. Parking behind the property was free and off the street (parking in the city requires payment). The property was within easy and flat walking distance to the central Bath area with many sites to visit.

Great for a weekend away

Liked: Clean, had everything you needed. Really liked the hands off approach, felt very private!

Liked: We knew breakfast was limited to items left in a fridge outside the room - pain au chocolate, fruit juice, yoghurt. This was fine as we could look forward to having a lunch.The room was on the ground floor, well appointed and comfortable, the only observation made being that the shower bracket was not workable.
Disliked: No dislikes - the room was found as described in the information when we booked.

Nice, but not good value

Liked: It was nice to be provided with breakfast items, which were located in downstairs fridge
Disliked: Shower could be better, tv was wrongly positioned and picture was unclear. Bed was not made, cups not washed and replacement ones just left outside bedroom door. Teabags were not replenished, and towels were rough and not replaced during stay

Next time we would ask...

Disliked: It says there is a fridge but it's not in the room but in a communal area. Not great for keeping my medication in safely.

Liked: The Bay Tree House is at a terrific location. I walked from the bus station and located it easily. I was able to pop into the town center within a short walk - and did just that several times a day between outings. The room was simple but served the purpose as I generally just want a place that is clean, neat, and has a good location. The bathroom was very nice. A simple breakfast was provided in a common refrigerator with coffee/tea supplies in my room. All good !
