Liked: This is my fourth visit. Quiet - that is what I like. No housekeeping to interrupt my stay during the day. Good parking lot. All very secure and safe.
Disliked: I booked the room with a balcony. There was not a balcony. Some more easy-fix maintenance is needed. What I did not like most was that I canceled my room (1,112.93) on 12/19/23, and I did not get a refund for it as of today (1/26/24). Booking.com did not help resolve this problem as promised by the CS.After I canceled the previous room, I booked another, different room and the room for my son's family instead. That is why I canceled the first room on time (two days before the deadline). I had to call my CC to dispute the charge. The refund should occur automatically without begging for it.

Relaxing

Liked: The room is spacious and clean. We loved having a well-equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. The resort is beautiful and it was easy to get to restaurants, shops and the beach taking the shuttle (although the shuttle schedule is not provided and we averagely waited for 20-30 minutes for a shuttle). All staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very relaxing stay.
Disliked: I’m not sure how this happened, I did not receive h check-in instructions before we arrived. We arrived outside of the reception’s operation hour and were quite confused about how to get to our room. But staff helped us and all was well in the end.

Liked: Location was central to many activities. Pretty views as we were high enough. Easy check in.
Disliked: This was our ninth Thanksgiving on the Sandestin property, staying in different places. Evidently, we enjoy the setting. Bay Club included.
