Liked: Lovely, peaceful hotel with green surroundings and a nearby lake perfect for swimming. My room was bright and quiet, and while the mattress was a little firmer than I’m used to, I still slept well. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and Riem Arcaden mall is just a few minutes away. A great spot for both relaxation and convenience.
Disliked: There were not many healthy cafes around… mattress was a bit harder than usual.

Liked: It was a beautiful modern hotel and nicely free of the busy central Munich life. Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: No air conditioning in rooms was tricky given the heat of summer when we visited and the suite was an amazing size although the sofa bed did lead to some complaints for our older children re comfort. Service was not the best.

Liked: 1. The hotel staff were very helpful - when we arrived we were not happy with the room as we requested a double bed but we were given a room with 2 single beds pushed together. We had just stayed in another hotel with the same issue and didn't want that again as it was unsuitable for a couple and uncomfortable. The gentleman at the desk was very understanding and provided us with an upgraded room which did have a double mattress. The room was also more modern and the bathroom and shower was better too. The bed we slept in was comfortable. He also offered us 2 free drinks for the inconvenience. He was so helpful and he made it feel like this was no problem for the hotel. I really appreciated this. 2. The breakfast was lovely. Nice choice of hot and cold options. 3. The hotel itself was pretty and authentic. 4. Free easy parking. 5. The rooms didn't have fridges but they hotel staff were happy to store our drinks in a fridge and the lobby also offers cold drinks in mini fridges. 6. Location was lovely. Only 20 min drive outside the city and 15 mins from friends. When we visit friends this will likely be the hotel we come back to stay.
Disliked: 1. The room we checked in to seemed to cater for 1 person, it had 1 pillow, 1 single blanket for a double mattress and 1 big towel. I think because of the issue we had with changing rooms, I was worried I was sounding like a demanding guest by asking for more pillows and more towels etc. The hotel were very accommodating and once we had everything we needed we could relax and enjoyed our stay. 2. We wanted to be able to watch TV for a little while before we went to sleep but there were no English channels other than the news. These days, I think hotels should just have smart tvs so people can log into Netflix or another streaming service.3. Shower - bathroom was lovely but the water pressure for the shower could have been better.4. The room was quite hot and humid. Air con would have made it more comfortable.5. The pool area didn't look as nice as the photos, it was smaller and a bit more dated than expected.6. Food menu was lovely but overpriced. On arrival we had 1 drink each and a small starter as a light snack, this cost us over 50 euros.
