Truly a jewel of a...

Liked: Beautiful interiors, great location, loved the help yourself bar areas, the order in breakfast option, friendly helpful staff. Really just a stunning, unique hotel. We loved it.
Disliked: The massive winter duvet on the bed was too much for the summer. A lighter bedding option would have been good.

Great character hotel with lovely...

Liked: Well presented and nicely decorated, had character. Worthy of note is the bathtub, being very deep and best used when occupied as a couple. No traffic noise, being a big plus and a surprise.
Disliked: Air con was noisy and initially thought it would affect sleep, but comfy bed appeared to have resolved that concern. Courtyard, although nice, was also noisy due to, I think, air conditioning or other fans located close by.

Comfortable stay in a hidden...

Liked: Staff are thoughtful and great. The place is amazing looking, especially given its location near Liverpool St. Design and look of the place are gorgeous. Great to be able to order tasty breakfast by just leaving a hanger on the door.
Disliked: Sometimes aesthetics have taken precedence over functionality. The tap nozzles in my bathroom were located separately from the sink and the tap itself didn't really stick out into the sink - both made it weird to use. Breakfast is served in the rooms, which isn't really my preference. Also slightly surprised given the general oldschool British vibe of the hotel that there as no cooked breakfast on the menu!
