An experiance I will not...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: 1. The linen is only changed every 4 days.2. Room is not serviced. To have the room services, an extra fee/day is payable3. Could not get the maintenance staff to replace blown light bulbs4. Poor drainage system, bathroom reeked of sewer gasses5. Room was on first floor but the elevator did not service to total hotel, as stated in their write up6. The room has an air conditioner, but the total installation has been decommissioned, no ventilation, only bathroom extraction.7. Note in bathroom states water is not suitable to drink. Drinking water could be purchased from the bar. Bar rates not store rates.8. We were first offered a room without windows. We were informed that there was no forced fresh air ventilation to the room, the room was supplied with a fan.9. The Keycard system was not working when we booked in. Each day we had to have the keycard reprogrammed.10. The front of house staff were less than helpfull, no staff to assist to carry cases to upper floor due to on elevator not serving our part of the hotel complex.11. Front of House staff need training on how to deal with conflict situations

Nice country spot for a...

Liked: The opportunity to have a reasonably priced three course meal was appreciated given the location.
Disliked: Being put into a room that was more or less above a dance band for a wedding happening at the venue. It was a hot night. The air conditioning had been turned off or wasn't working and the band played until midnight, so we had to keep the windows shut to try and (unsuccessfully) get some sleep. Accept such events occur, and that the band would play until late, but guests like us need to get housed away from the noise as far as possible.
