Online pictures deceiving but right...

Liked: Great location on South Shore. Across street from casino. Connected to great brewery (South of North). The room was nice; clean and neat. Bathroom was updated clean but small.
Disliked: Now the downside. Staff had attitude, not helpful and simply weren’t nice. Outside the room, the property had extremely tight parking and spaces. And the walkways and stairs especially in the building we were given was disgusting (disrepair and unsafe).

It’s fine for a night...

Liked: The location is great. You cant beat it.
Disliked: Keep in mind this is an old motel with a some new paint and cute linens. If you want to see a bear this is the place. You have to sign a bear waiver which is totally fine however they leave the trash bins full and the dumpster wide open for free feeding. This has happened both times I’ve stayed. This time I was woken up at 3am by a bear knocking over the two trash cans in the parking lot. Sure it’s cool to see the bears but it takes one tourist to get too close and then it’s a bigger issue. If you ask your guests to sign a waiver then do your part also. For the safety of your guests and wildlife.
