Disliked: That coffee pot didn’t work on first day.

It was pricey for what...

Liked: It was close to town and the Flatirons so getting to places was convenient. The water pressure in the shower was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The parking situation is ridiculous; it’s narrow and difficult to maneuver - and our vehicle is not large. The bed was very, very uncomfortable.

Liked: We liked the location, the shared amenities seemed to be popular, I appreciate the look they were going for. Staff was nice.
Disliked: We weren’t aware from the listing that it was a refurbished motel, with the local homeless population being so high I wish they had more barriers to entry. The room was pretty musty from the mini split air conditioner and carpet that smells like dirty socks.

Liked: The location suited my needs. The theme is cute. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Where do I begin? The theme is cute but….this is an OLD hotel that has been updated but still needs more work. It’s like a remodeled MOTEL or motor inn. You know the kind where the door is right next to a giant window with the air conditioner underneath. The carpet looked sketchy and needed to be cleaned. The walls needed to be painted. The bathroom was very narrow with a door that swung in but nearly impossible to shut the door once inside. The lighting was too bright and the bedside outlet did not work. It felt rundown. I think if you stayed here after you’d been backpacking or tent camping, this place would feel like the Ritz Carlton. But for a non backpacker/camper, it fell short of my expectations.
