Barwon Heads Resort at 13th Beach

Great room and location. Exterior...

Liked: Clean , roomy and very pleasant views
Disliked: I was told my key would be at reception. When I arrived everything was locked and a cleaner let me in. There was a map of where my room was, but as the front and back of the building were not marked, I did not know what end to go to. I had very heavy bags so I parked at the far end of the resort near where I thought my room was indicated. My room was actually the total other end of the building. I was too scared to walk back in the dark to later move my car and get other things out of it. The exterior lighting at the walkway and doorway entrance (pool end of the building) appeared to be not working. I was very nervous alighting my car in such darkness. As I was travelling alone I found this distressing.

Liked: The proximity to the golf course. Friendly staff.Cleanliness
Disliked: When we saw the state were great, so friendly. But when we needed extra towels we couldn’t find anyone. There were no spare blankets or towels in the room. The couch was not very comfortable. The bed was average.
