Liked: Barton Hall looked really nice on arrival. My room was nice and clean and the reception staff were very friendly I didn't check in until after 9pm and checked out around 8am the next morning so I never used any facilities so cannot comment. If the opportunity was there to stay again I would return

It was wonderful and geeat.

Liked: There was excellent service, staff were helpful and smiling.
Disliked: It will be better for a porter to help with luggage say from the car park or open the door close to the car park to make carrying easier.

Lovely hotel! Highly recommended!

Liked: I loved all of it! The room, the atmosphere, the location and the staff at the restaurant.
Disliked: I asked for an early check-in and was only told that my room wasn't ready before 3pm when I arrived. I wasn't happy as I wasn't informed. The lady checked to see if my room was ready. Thanks to the lovely cleaning team, it was. I was able to check in early. However it would have been good from the lady at Reception to be more flexible straight away rather than encountering some resistance from her part. Otherwise it was perfect!

Liked: Unfortunately, there are no facilities for children which Booking.com does not highlight, so we booked the hotel because of the pool, not realising that my son could not use it. The Manager was understanding and agreed to cancel the remaining days with a full refund; however, Booking.com was awful to navigate and sent the receptionist around in circles to the point we gave up and stayed because the hotel itself is amazing. I enjoyed some complimentary time in the spa, which was a lovely experience. The breakfast was super, as was the charming dining room staff. The room was very spacious, and the complimentary water was much appreciated.
