Lovely one-night stay

Liked: The hotel was absolutely lovely, this is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in to date. The outdoor spa area was a delight, especially because of the nice weather. The four-poster bedroom was really really nice, and I would be looking to stay again soon. The staff were very friendly and it was just a great stay.
Disliked: Everything was great

Liked: Room was lovely & bed really comfortable. We enjoyed our massage on the Saturday & breakfast was good.
Disliked: We enjoyed the spa but really couldn't understand why you were limited to 3 hrs. All the other spas we have been to you are free to use for as long as you wish & come & go as you please. Considering it was soooo quiet in the spa really didn't like this idea & put us off returning. Never experienced this before !

Liked: We stayed at the hotel to break our journey from Norfolk to the Midlands and extend our holiday by visiting the spa. Fortunately this all worked out fine, the spa wasn't busy when we arrived (3 hours gratuity but not guaranteed if busy), and we were able to enjoy fluffy robes, spa pool, sauna and steam room. We ate at the restaurant and I can report the catering of Kettering to be plentiful and good quality (Fish & chips). The staff were lovely and some chatted with us at dinner and breakfast. The room was part of the old building and overlooking the gardens. The experience we had was good value for money given the investment that has been put into the spa and other facilities.
Disliked: There was a wedding on, which did create a bit of noise. However this was mostly away from our room area and it was nice to see everyone dressed up and enjoying themselves.
