Great hotel , would stay...

Liked: Spa was really good, location and price was very good , 50mins away from silverstone
Disliked: Only downfall the TV in our room was broke , so couldn't watch the England game haha , no book this hotel it's great

Exceptional

Amazing spa and restaurant. Letdown...

Liked: The spa was amazing the facilities were great! Also amazing staff, I had a really great massage and the lady who gave it was so professional and nice. Also the lady at the the reception was really nice too. The waiting staff were also exceptional expecially the younger ones. The food was delicious and breakfast was nice. The room was beautiful and comfortable
Disliked: The breakfast although tasty was a bit expensive. Also I had booked a superior room. And I also rang in advance to say I had mobility issues and if I could have a ground floor room. I was told there were no superior rooms on the ground floor and I could use the service lift. When I got home I looked at the website and it stated that all superior are situated on the ground floor with easy accessibility. I rang the hotel and the receptionist insisted this wasn't the case. When I told her I was looking at the website and the room we stayed in looked like a standard room and that there had been an extra door and asked what was it for, she said it was open by request and was in fact more of our room. Then when she finally admitted superior rooms are situated downstairs she said they are accessibility rooms. I reminded her I had rang beforehand and said I had mobility issues. She just said nothing and then mumbled I will get it taken off the website. I just thought it was very unprofessional as I clearly paid for something I didn't get. The lift was very claustrophobic and was a service lift.The stairs were extremely hard to use. Everyone else the spa staff and the restaurant staff were excellent. But the receptionist I spoke to literally talked to me like I wasn't telling the truth and didn't even offer an apology. This was disheartening as spent alot of money and was only looking at the website as I was looking at booking a spa day but after how I was spoken to by the receptionist and given a standard room instead of a superior and then lied to I don't think I will

Nice stay

Liked: Thought the property was lovely and was pleased we were able to use the spa for the free 3 hours
Disliked: I felt like the carpet in our room (room 10) was really dirty and there was also a musty smell through out the room

Liked: Comfortable, clean and classy. Just right for a child free night away
Disliked: Breakfast finished too early on Saturday so we couldn’t eat after park run at Kettering

Disliked: Room was small and hot. The staff were very very unhelpful

Beautiful Barton Hall

Liked: Lovely period property on the outskirts of Kettering. Our room was super - very comfortable. There were good breakfast options, a nice bar and outdoor seating area and a fabulous outside spa. Lady on the Reception was very helpful.
Disliked: Nothing really - we stayed for 5 nights and would be happy to return.
