Liked: Location very good , however standard of room very poor , thread bare carpets and a trickle of a shower

Liked: Great location, comfortable, clean room and friendly, happy, helpful staff.
Disliked: We had particularly hot weather so air-conditioning in the bedroom would have been nice.

Liked: Evening main courses were lovely, all tasted fresh and flavoursome, we were pleased.The mattress was extremely comfortable, we slept so well.The garden is nice and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: Room 20 internals are dated, tight for space to use the wardrobe, and its shower was disappointing to say the least, so we used the pool facilities instead. Bedside socket positioning not exactly handy. I would probably come back for a short stay but request a higher spec room.

Disliked: Didn’t have the adequate amount of beds for number of people booked.

Liked: Perfect location in New Forest. Dog friendly room and 1 minute walk to meet the ponies. Pay extra for dog but hotel provides bowls, and treats as well as towels for muddy dogs. Quiet, spacious and plenty of parking. Good menu.
Disliked: Nothing that would stop us having another stay.

The staff were amazing and...

Liked: The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating this is what made our stay with grandaughter who is on autistic spectrum so fantastic. I would recommend
Disliked: some of the facilities were a little tired but this this did not change the 5 star experience

Four star hotel with 2...

Liked: The property is wonderful, well decorated. Could do with some nicer touches in the room however. A few nights before I had stayed in one of its sister hotels and was given robes, flannels etc.
Disliked: Would benefit from someone coming in daily to make your bed and refresh towels. Also would have been nice to have not had the four poster bed post blocking the tv. The staff at reception were a little frosty at times.
