Great place to stay close to KK's. Lovely atmosphere; spotlessly clean; would recommend. We are staying again if you guys don't beat us to it :)
Liked: Lovely old worldly, not like a modern hotel. Very lovely place, would recommend. Keith the owner is a nice friendly guy.
Disliked: Nothing.

We went to KK's Steel Mill and stayed at the Barons. I would defo use it again - clean, tidy, quirky, cosy, lovely old property. Basic rooms but loads of tea and coffee; clean bathroom; shower was great; for the small amount of money we paid it's a bargain.
Liked: I like the quirkiness of the place. It was clean with a comfy bed; very friendly staff on reception. It's a lovely older property and was such a good price!
Disliked: Nothing really!

Staying at Baron's Court exceeded my expectations. I got a nice slice of real British hospitality in a quaint and comfortable hotel. Staff went above and beyond. I highly recommend Baron's Court.
Liked: My room had been recently renovated and was comfortable and well-appointed. Staff (Michael) was very customer-service oriented. Baron's Court was where I alighted after a transatlantic flight, several train journeys, and a one-mile walk and I felt welcome, safe, and I appreciated the attention of the staff. Christmas decorations were up and the whole place just felt cozy and welcoming.
Disliked: Electronic room keys could be easily erased in proximity to a cell phone. Took a couple tries for me to remember to keep it away from my phone.

Stayed just one night. What a lovely gem. Fantastic house with so many original features still there. Good parking, easy taxi ride into town, great to be able to have the dog there, and lovely breakfast.
