Liked: Beautiful location - very peaceful.
Disliked: Nothing - ahhh actually - bottled water in room would be nice tbh.

Overall, poor quality and standard...
Liked: Swimming pool, spa facilities some bar staff tried to be very helpful
Disliked: Noisy rooms, could hear neighbouring room, through adjoining door, chicken starter dish had been deep fried from frozen, meat just cooked, bones in the middle ice cold, food in bar restaurant was cold, not as described on menu, very poor quality and value for money.Very disappointed to be honest

Liked: Fantastic air conditioning. Also, we ended up getting an upgrade because we wanted to extend our original reservation.
Disliked: The hotel site offers breakfast but Booking.com doesn't. Mind you, I should have checked, because it's in the hotel's interest to give this for direct bookings.

Handy if you want to...
Liked: The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was served with an eye for detail in making the plate look attractive. The rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Good coffee in restaurant.
Disliked: The hotel decor was a dreary dark brown color, the rooms could do with a renewal of some of the paintwork. The rooms are of a corporate style, small, compact and functional. To fill a bath with water took an age with a single small bore tap. We originally booked 2 days and added another day several weeks before our stay. The receptionist who issued us our door key cards set the 'time out' for the first day. The result was when we returned to the hotel on the second night the keys did not work; fortunately the door had been securely closed and pushed open. If anything had been taken this could have been an issue but was fine. I went to the reception desk and did as instructed to push the blue button on the telephone, the automatic reply when not picked up was that nobody was available on that extension. I tried 5 times with the same response, nobody came to the front desk and I returned to the room. Very poor. Breakfast was expensive at £25 and on the first day the sausages were hard, obviously having been cooked some time beforehand. Beer at the bar ludicrously expensive, £7.60 for a pint of IPA. Bread for toast was so thin it came out of the toaster as a crisp bread.
