Great place; great price; nothing fancy but all you need for a place to crash after a show.

Liked: Great price for Vancouver and satisfactorily nice and clean inside relative to the price! The pub downstairs was great too - awesome people working the bar.

Disliked: Check in lady have us a room key that didn’t work and the room had a do not disturb sign. Got a second room key and the room had one bed. We booked a twin room. Third time lucky we got a room but has the check in lady left, she asked us to move rooms in the morning. We thought that was unacceptable when we booked two night twin share. Check in lady was unorganised and had paper everywhere. Upside, great location, room was clean.

Best Value for Money in...

Liked: Just about the only affordable hotel in Vancouver. Great location! Room renovations have really upgraded the experience. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing, really. They are still doing Reno’s on another part of the hotel but it didn’t affect me at all. Two minor things: the window didn’t lock properly but it would’ve taken Spider-Man to get in! And the heaters were a bit aggressive - I had to keep turning them down.

Disappointing. Misled in booking.

Liked: Good location. The building is undergoing renovation/ total rebuild. No other amenity apart from the room. This construction had been ongoing fir a year. The offer online was totally misleading.
Disliked: See above. This hotel should have been closed, such is the extent of the renovation.

Exceeded expectations and had everything...

Liked: The check in process was so easy with super friendly staff and a bag drop service until our room was ready. There were some renovations going on but it didn’t affect our stay at all. The location was great! Super central and easy to find. The room was way larger than we expected and the beds were very comfy. The shower was phenomenal! There was an ice machine and a vending machine which was awesome and the staff gave us lots of recommendations for cafes and restaurants and things to do. Great value for money!
