Good sleep and location but...

Liked: Friendly staff, we had nice rooms with view on city and sleep in bed was very comfortable. Breakfast did not have overwhelming variety of food but it was regularly changed so you were able to eat plenty of different styles of sweet food etc
Disliked: They failed to prepare paid surprise package on our arrival. Bar is closing soon in the evening and you cannot buy cocktails in restaurant. One night they made our bad as two separate beds even though we were supposed to have queen size bed. Also for this value of money I sould expect to have bottled water available every night. In bathroom you can see that rooms are not up-to-date anymore.

Goods and bads

Liked: Room was clean and staff was helpful and friendly.It is 15 minutes from the waterfront and about the same from the Ramblas. From the rooftop, it has an incredible all around view of Barcelona.
Disliked: Washroom was outdated and the room was quite small. The washroom door was in front of the bed and the light switch outside of the bathroom, so any night trips will make the other person in bed get a balst of light. Also, we were supposed to get a free room upgrade to Superior double and I don't think we got it considering the size of the room. If it was the superior, not sure how small a standard would be.

Will stay here again without...

Liked: There is nothing to complain about this hotel. The staff was very helpful, especially the 2 door men, names I did not get. One was a taller gentleman and the other was medium height and they both were there on Sunday. Staff at check in were great and gave us recommendations around the neighborhood for excellent food. The coffee machine was good and the rooftop bar was cozy and very comfortable.
Disliked: None.

Liked: the size of the room was really good and unexpected and the rooftop bar was nice.
Disliked: the sound proofing between our room and the room next door and above was so bad, we didn’t get any sleep for the 3 days that we were there. really disappointing given the price of the hotel. honestly probably the worst sound proofing quality I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, we were kept awake until 2-3am and woken up at 6-7 every day.

Liked: The location was good, close to the metro it was possible to walk to most things. It was clean and the bed comfortable.The breakfast buffet was very good.
Disliked: The staff were not very warm or engaging.

Liked: the room was comfortable and large, the location was fairly good, 15 minutes walk on average to places of interest.
Disliked: the pool was close and the gim was very small with not many instruments.my son barely found something to eat in breakfast
