Nice modern well located hotel

Liked: Big large modern room (#365) that fit easily 3 people comfortably. Very clean. 3 luggage racks. Facial tissue. Shower with a glass window; limiting some movements while a person is in the shower. Very helpful staff (coffee, tea, city map...) Very well located. comfortable bed. Large towels. Small parking.

Liked: The hotel has a very good location within the city, easy to access, and to move around, close to numerous sightseeings. The bed are very comfy, people are very nice
Disliked: I've been given a bedroom for disable people with a very weird bathroom. The bathroom sink had a strange proportion, I couldn't wash my hands normally given the height between the sink and the tap. The shower was for a disabled person, the water went everywhere and there was no hook to hang a towel. 2 single beds instead of a big one. 2nd floor with street view & I'v been able to hear from the "Cascadas" bar noise even after 1am. The breakfast wasn't that good and i've been asked to pay more taxes when I left because it seems the reception guy messed up when I arrived and already paid.My friend's room was great, a huge bed, a small but comfy bathroom with a real shower & normal sink, view on the side of the hotel, no noise...It didn't left me a good overall appreciation when Barcelò hotels have a good reputation.

Liked: A modern hotel well situated near the main train station and close to the warehouse district. Staff were all helpful, and we got an early check-in which was very welcome after long flights and train from Australia. Some very good cheap eateries within 1-2 blocks. Handy underground car park where we stored our bicycles safely. We didn’t like the dark hallways with motion-sensor lights but this was a minor detail.
