Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, good...

Liked: We stayed here for a night before our camping trip in Acadia. Good location and clean rooms. The beds were comfortable and the retro theme is cute. Breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had. I requested a crib before arriving and it was waiting in the room for us before we got there! The front desk were very friendly and gave my toddler a little beaver stuffy that she was excited about. I would definitely go back! We couldn’t use the pool and playground in our short stay, but they looked good too.
Disliked: I booked it a little late so probably got last minute prices, but it was a little expensive.

Great location for visiting Acadia

Liked: Location was great convenient to all injuries of Acadia national Park without being right down in Bar Harbor. This place wasn’t super fancy, but it was very updated and perfect for a family with one or two kids wanting to do Acadia national park which was us.
Disliked: Nothing. This place wasn’t super fancy. It was super cute. It was perfect for a family with one or two children, which was us.

Liked: I really like the retro style. Microwave and refrigerator and in all rooms. Heated pool, breakfast included. WIFI password, red towels folded in the shape of lobsters on the beds.
Disliked: refrigerator was making noise so I turned it off. Hopefully I'll remember to turn it back on before I leave tomorrow.

This motel is a gem...

Liked: I loved this motel. I’ve stayed in all sorts of accommodations, but this was my favorite. It was like camping without camping (in the best possible way). The Attention to the details made our experience comfortable, convenient, and fun. The cleaning staff was helpful as was the front desk. I needed a stamp. They gave me a stamp and postcards already stamped. Each of my kids received a cute stuffed beaver. There were so many kid friendly activities for them from coloring, pool, movies, s’mores, granola making, and more. We stayed a full week in the family suites. It was plenty of room for my family of 6. One last thing is the breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. It had a lot of variety. It even had gluten free rolls. I think this is a great choice for budget conscious families. Thank you Bar Harbor motel; you went above and beyond to make things very special for my family.
