Very good

Liked: Lovely quiet location, excellent food and drink and the rooms are clean with a mixture of contemporary and modern.
Disliked: Would of been nice if the restaurant had been open when we arrived or room service.

Pleasant

Liked: Inexpensive enough and beautiful but a bit odd
Disliked: The amount of steps to book, the directions and finding the place was tricky and hard to get in at first.

Exceptional

Liked: Everything was brand new and spotless! The attention to detail and decoration was very tasteful!
Disliked: The only criticism is the double bed is very small! The bed size is usually given in the property details, eg king or super king, this was a 4”6, but not in the details!

Liked: Lovely wee pub.

Relaxing and very comfortable

Liked: Clean and very comfy beds.
Disliked: A kettle for boiling water. Hot water from the coffee machine was not hot enough to make tea

Liked: Great location for me, and the place was exceptional!

Disappointing

Liked: Good location as it was within walking distance from the train station, it was clean and the beds were comfy
Disliked: I don’t think they are clear enough on the pictures with what you are getting. I was under the impression the rooms looked like the lodges where they definitely don’t. It was quite outdated, I got 2 single beds when I asked for a double. There was no tea making facilities in the room, only a coffee machine. The walls were super thin so you could hear everything from other rooms. And it was quite expensive for what it was, specially as it’s 40 min drive from Edinburgh
