Lovely people and comfy bed...

Liked: The Australian staff at front of house was a really friendly guy
Disliked: The service and rooms felt very cheap compared to other comparable hotels on the Mediterranean which were cheaper but a lot nicer. Felt. Like they knew they didn’t need to try

Review of experience with Banff...

Liked: Proximity to the main activities and underground parking.
Disliked: Everything in that lodge is old and there is no attempt whatsoever to modernize. No air conditioning and the ironing board is a mess. The rugs look dirty and there is no microwave for use. Compared to other lodgings that we used during this vacation, e.g., The Crimson Jasper, and for the amount charged per night, Banff Caribou Lodge is a complete disappointment!

Would stay there again because...

Liked: Good location and very attractive architecture. Satisfactory restaurant and pleasant/helpful staff.
Disliked: Adequate, but rather boring and small rooms.

Overall it was good stay....

Liked: Good staff, Clean and comfortable to stay, restaurant buffet are very good. I love the large hot pool and sauna. Underground parking.
Disliked: I didn't have breakfast included in this price range. No cold plunge on Sauna. Room fridge was broken. Missing towels on second night.
