Good value, good food, nice...

Liked: Great position as a transit stop during a long journey. Room was comfy but bath looked like it needed a good clean and the floorboards were very creaky so person above us woke us very early.

Disappointing!

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: Waiting for staff for check in and check out. Waited 50 minutes for food at breakfast. Room pictures on booking.com don’t match actual room.

Liked: Beautiful property
Disliked: We had bedroom number 2. It was very pretty but the extra stairs inside the bedroom was a challenge with our suitcase

Lovely thatched hotel

Liked: Has a lot going for it but being let down by a lack of investments
Disliked: Hasn’t been upgraded since I was their 15 years ago. In fact since I last visited, it’s gone backwards. The beautiful Resturant is now a hideous bar with tacky blue lights - it’s vile.

Lovely overnight stop.

Liked: Beautiful room. No. 2. Plenty of space and storage space. Nicely furnished. Nice but expensive breakfast but tea should not be made and left in a flask!!! Dinner very good and reasonable price.
Disliked: Needed air con. Shower was a bit tricky - basic electric showers are always best. Stairs up to room once inside the door.
