Value for money, exceeded my...

Liked: Plenty of selection for breakfast, continental and cooked to order options. Great location, village location but on main road so easy access. Staff lovely, polite and helpful. Room lovely and spacious.
Disliked: Nothing I didn't like.

Very helpful staff. Bed garbage!...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Staff were amazing. Meal was the best feed we've had in England.
Disliked: Took an hour to run the bath? But it is an old hotel so that's just what happens I guess!

Liked: Nicely decorated room and pleasant overall vibe to the hotel
Disliked: Lots of details not quite up to standard - felt understaffed, slow service and staff who forgot what you had ordered, noisy at night (road and other guests arriving back late), some items out of stock on the bar. Nothing terrible but given the price per night the details should be better.
