Overpriced not up to standard...

Disliked: The standard of room for the price wasn’t very good, the room wasn’t ready when we arrived I had booked a twin room ( 2 x single beds ) was given a room with a double bed, had to wait 20 minutes for that to be sorted out. The bathroom was dated and the door didn’t shut properly either. The beds weren’t very good either. We thought we would eat at the hotel but the menu was small not a lot of choice and very expensive. Having stayed in many hotels around the country the price of this for the standard you get is not value for money. The hotel is in a lovely location and the staff were pleasant but I wouldn’t stay there again.

A very pleasant warm friendly...

Liked: We have stayed before and have never been disappointed. This visit was as good.Plenty of friendly staff on hand to make your stay that bit nicer. Food very good. Good experience over all. Well done!
Disliked: Reception can be manned from time to time which can be a little frustrating.

Would not stay again given...

Liked: The facilities available for my sister's 80th birthday party were fine. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The food on our table (1) I would describe as no more than adequate. My Bang Bang Cauliflower was under-seasoned and bland, The Coq au Vin bore no resemblance to the classical dish, the chicken appeared to have been cooked separately from its sauce which was minimal.My sons, sitting on an adjacent table thought the food poor, Shrimps, not Prawns in the cocktail, Roast Beef that was hardly edible carved from the end of the joint. All in all the meal was a disappointment.

Liked: Choice and service at breakfast was excellent. Food was well cooked and neatly presented. We were pleased with the suite which was well presented and really comfortable. All the dinners were excellent especially Easter Sunday. Our thanks to the chef for excellent presentation and to all the staff for their friendly, cheerful attendance.
Disliked: Nothing

Gorgeous Hotel

Liked: I loved the location. Ig was spotlessly clean. We had an issue with the electricity being off in our room?...it was seen to immediately.all in all we all enjoyed our stay at the beautiful hoteThe breakfast was one ofthe best I ever had in a hotel. Copious amounts of tiast and coffee all broughg with a smile. l
Disliked: There wasn't anything we didn't like, it was perfect

A Great NIght

Liked: Having stayed at the Wroxton on numerous occasions when visiting friends nearby I knew what to expect. My last stay had been marred by the hotel appearing to be deserted and run down a little from previous visits. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the hotel had had a makeover and that the lobby, restaurant and general demeanour was much improved. The staff were friendly, the room on the ground floor was very clean and very big and far enough away from the party we were attending to be quiet. The party was well organised with excellent food and the staff were attentive.
Disliked: The price of the drinks was high. I realise that hotel drinks are expensive but these seemed especially hiked. Not sure if it was for the occasion or was the regular pricing but it should be looked at. Everything else was perfect and perhaps Im just a little out of touch with modern pricing. Nevertheless an excellent time as usual.
